Nothing in this Agreement shall constitute a waiver by Ramsey County, the liRA, or <br /> the GRANTEE of any statutory or eommon law immunities, limits, or exceptions on <br /> liability. <br />8. Non-Assignability <br /> GRANTEE shall not assign any intcrest in this Agreement and shall not transfer any <br /> intcrest in the same, whether by subcontract, assignmcnt or novation, without the prior <br /> written conscnt of the HRA. <br />9. Prevailing Wage <br /> All Contractors and subcontractors shall confoml to the labor laws ofthc State of <br /> Minnesota, and all othcr laws, ordinances, and legal requirements affecting the work in <br /> Ramsey County and lVlinnesota. The minimum wage rale per hour to be paid for each <br /> classification of work shall be the union wage rate in the locality of the project for those <br /> classifications over which the unions have jurisdiction and the local prevailing ratc for <br /> those c1assi tications of work in thc localities ovcr wbich tbe unions do not have <br /> jurisdiction. <br />II. Workplacc Violence Prevention <br /> GRANTEE shall make all reasonable efforts to ensurc that its employees, officials and <br /> suhcontractors do not cngage in violence while pcrrorming under this Agreement. <br /> Violence, as defined by the Ramsey County Workplace Violence Prevention and <br /> RespectCul Workp1aee Policy, is defincd as words and actions that hurt or attempt to <br /> threaten or hurt people; it is any action involving thc use of physical t()fce, harassment, . <br /> ., <br /> -' <br />
