Thcy also indicated that when they were brought on as <br />new auditors, the transition process was very smooth. All five <br />finns have a number of city clients and arc well-qualified to provide professional audiJing <br />services. While we have received good service from our eUlTent auditing fiml, stafTreco111mends <br />that it is a good time to make a change. We anticipate some minor cost savings as a result of this <br />process, and think it will be healthy for the organization to have new auditors at this time. 1 have <br />attached some pages Iro111 Ml'vlKR's proposal for your information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize staff to negotiate a contract with Malloy, Montague, Kamowski, Radosevich and Co., . <br />P.A. (MMKR) as City Auditors, to provide Professional Auditing Scrviees tor the Years Ending <br />Dccember 31,2006 (total cost not to exeeed $24,750),2007, and 2008.
