<br />Information Specialists Group, Inc (lSG): <br />The third quote was received by Information Specialists Group, Inc. (ISG) out of Minneapolis. <br />Information Specialists Group is proposing to conduct a telephone survey of four hundred <br />randomly selected households in Arden Hills. The community survey questionnaire would be <br />conducted by ISG staff members. <br /> <br />Quoted Price: <br />The projected cost to conduct a 50 question unit survey is $10,400 ($9,900 for basic service and <br />$500.00 for presentation of survey results). Any changes made to the final questionnaire <br />submitted by the City will result in a $75.00 per hour charge for the additional work requested. <br />Additional consulting work performed by ISG and not specified in the contract will be billed at a <br />rate of$125.00 per hour. Information Specialists Group has minimal experience working with local government <br />agencies in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. <br />. City staff is concerned about the language in the proposal submitted by the Information <br />Specialists Group (ISG) that the bid proposal can be increased or decreased by 10% once <br />the project has begun. <br />. The proposed questions are too rigid and overly general. The proposed questions do not <br />provide the City with enough flexibility to tailor the questions towards Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Recommendation- <br />City staff is requesting City Council direction regarding the conducting of a community survey. <br />At this time, City staff is recommending the proposal submitted by Decision Resources, LTD. <br />The City will have greater flexibility and input regarding the questions that are being asked of <br /> <br />4 <br />
