Private redevelopment is likely
to occur in certain areas, either with or without public encouragement. The
Comprehensive Plan process needs to consider a broad range of changes that may
occur in the next 20 years. It will also need to assess the implications that the
TCAAP development will have on the remainder of the community.

Task 4 is a collaborative process involving HKGi and City staff to identify future
planning issues. The purpose of identifying planning issues is to establish a basis
for the preparation of the various elements of the Comprehensive Plan. Secondly, it 'will examine areas outside of
the TCAAP site that are subject to potential change over the life of the
Comprehensive Plan. Such sites are likely to include the Grey Fox Road
industrial area, the commercial area along Lexington Avenue between
Red Fox Road and County Road E and the manufactured home park
north of Highway 96.
