The Public Buildings and Public Services portions of Chapter 8 will be completed by City staff. 5.9 Chapter 9: Implementation. HKGi will assume the lead role in the preparation of the Implementation chapter. Implementation actions will focus on those steps necessary to carry out the policy and land use directions established in the plan as well as the directions established in each of the Plan chapters. These will include identifying inconsistencies with zoning and subdivision ordinances, providing information for subsequently updating the capital improvement program, and other actions. The land use plan defines general land use patterns, development forms, infrastructure system improvements, and public objectives and policies. Community development planning involves more than simply land use. This section of the plan will identify key strategic initiatives that will help carry out the community Vision and build upon the directions and policy established in the land use plan. These initiatives will focus on economic development, redevelopment and revitalization and community image (gateways, streetscapes and signature development areas). 5.10 Meet with City staff and Other Project Consultants. During the preparation of the draft Plan chapters, HKGi, Roseville staff, SEH and City staff are expected to meet a number of times to coordinate work and conduct common revi,ews of materials (3 meetings). 5.11 Conduct Review of Plan Elements. Meet with the Planning Commission/City Council (3 meetings) to review the chapters of the Plan. 5.12 Conduct Community Workshop #3. The third Community Workshop will be held as an open house to present the plan to the community and to seek final input prior to the more formal review and adoption process. The Workshop will be organized and conducted by City staff. 5.13 Refine the Plan Chapters Based on the Results of Community Workshop #3 and Compile Final Plan Draft. Prepare the final draft of the Arden Hills Comprehensive Plan for formal review. Deliverables: Thefollowing deliverables will be part of Task 5. o Initial draft sections of the Comprehensive Plan noted above as HKGi responsibility. o Final Comprehensive Plan draft sections noted above as HKGi responsibility. o Summaries of meetings with City staff.
