Give the benefit of doubt... <br />b. Feedback if you have lost it.... <br />c. Find opportunities to rebuild it.... <br />d. Find opportunities to nurture it... <br />e. If you don.t agree with content, focus on content. not on the consultant. <br /> <br />AFTER THE RETREAT <br /> <br />The following suggestions were made: <br />1. That staff and council have quarterly reviews of the priorities and how the well the <br />suggestions for staff and council effectiveness (above) are taking hold. <br />2. That staff and council be cognizant in what "quadrant" they are operating. <br />3. That council, being a group made up of analytical individuals. might tend to be overly <br />interested in details to the extent burdening staff with informaffon requests beyond its <br />capacity to respond. <br />4. That staff, understanding the analytical nalure of the elected individuals, prepare and <br />present information to the council in a logically organized manner. replete with context. <br />supporting documentation and, where possible, pros and cons". <br />5.
