Hal Miller mentioned that the campus master plan committee <br />is to move forward with Phase H. <br />The question arose if the Nazareth gym would be decked this <br />summer. The gym would probably not be decked due to budget <br />needs. <br />GOALS & OBJECTIVES: <br />Larry Page told the committee that the next step in developing <br />the master plan is to gather goals and objectives. In order <br />to develop your goals and objectives, the committee will need <br />to look at a 5 - 7 year period and a 15 - 30 year period. <br />You may already have some department goals gathered from <br />previous meetings as well as from reviewing the strategic <br />plan. Larry passed out sample handouts for the committee <br />to review. <br />Once the goals and objectives are completed, Larry will assemble <br />all the information into one single document. The next step will <br />be for the committee to prioritize the items. Larry will gather <br />together the academic goals and show how they will affect <br />the facility aspect of the campus. Any objective conflicts <br />in Larry's final document will be noted and discussed with <br />the committee. Larry mentioned the campus master plan is a <br />good communication tool that will help get the word out to <br />the constituents and convey to the board the justification of <br />these expenses.
