APPENDIX C The following pages include meeting minutes from meetings during the second phase of planning. 27 May 2003 A meeting of the Campus Master Plan Committee of Northwest- ern College was convened on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 1:10 p.m. in the Youderian Lounge. Members Present: Doug Schroeder Matt Hill Monica Groves Barb Lindman Jane Goedeke Doug Huffman Tim Tomlinson Mark Baden Gerry Bouma Rod Loeffler Dan Crane Asa Ferguson Cheryl Seiffert John Delich Randy Riesberg Steve Morrow Dale Solberg Ruth Ball Guest Present: Mr. Larry Page, Partners & Sirny Doug Schroeder called the meeting to order and opened in prayer. An introduction of the committee members took place. Doug Schroeder gave an overview of the Campus Master Plan Committee. Agendas were distributed. Doug Schroeder shared with the Committee that the previous CMP group was designed to focus on 1600 students. Dr. Cureton and the Long Range Strategic Planning Committee is focusing on 2400 FTE's by 2020. We have been growing at a rate slightly above 4%, which would bring us to the growth of 2400 by 2017. We need to look at slowing down the growth rate. Doug Schroeder gave the charge of the Campus Master Plan Committee and introduced Larry Page from Partners and Sirny and also read a memo from Dr. Hal Miller, the co-chair of the committee, who was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. Dr. Miller's memo shared his thoughts on the campus master plan process and the time frame for the balance of 2003. Doug Schroeder asked if any members of the previous CMP Committee had any comments relating to previous work done by the Committee.
