APPENDIX C campus. It will be important for the buildings to be attractive however economical. There are several items that require further evaluation. Dr. Miller addressed the target number for our growth. Mr. Schroeder addressed the growth number vs. the city of Roseville and Arden Hills. Discussion took place regarding South Campus and student housing in Snelling Terrace and the need for Larry to do additional work on this area. The Committee discussed the parking proposed. Is it possible to put in some parking behind Maranatha instead of where the tennis courts are? What about parking in both locations? Larry will evaluate the possibilities. The use of the island property was mentioned and the need to see about incorporating that into the plan. Can we make it a park? Jerry Bielby discussed the buckthorn project and how we can incorporate the island by making it a small arboretum; make it attractive so people will use it. Dr. Miller suggests that we add the island into the final Master Plan. Larry Page will evaluate the possibilities for use of the island property. The next step for the Committee will be to take the proposed proposal to your co-workers and share their ideas and thoughts when we meet again. Larry will continue to work on the evaluation of some of the areas mentioned along with reworking the proposal based on a few suggestions given.
