I am opposed to putting in a CVS
Pharmacy in the complex. I think we have enough CVS and Walgreens Pharmacy operations in the
area. They don't seem to be content until they have one every 5 miles from one another, There is only
one Arden Plaza Pharmacy. I use it frequently for mailing letters and packages, selecting greeting cards,
and the purchase of decorative items, I like the pleasant friendly atmosphere there. I will not get that
same kind of treatment at a CVS, I only go to them as a last resort.

That building along with other proposed buildings seem to cramp the space of that area and detract from
the appeal of the present stores, In the case of Ace Hardware, it will severely curtail their plant and
Christmas tree space and make it more difficult for people to spot their location.

I also question the value of bringing in an ALDI's store, I don't think their type of customer comes from
suburbs like Arden Hills, Shoreview, and Roseville.

I hope the planning meeting goes well and you have some good discussion,

Lyle Steinfeldt
4430 Arden View Ct.
Arden Hills, MN 55112

8/29/2007
