Calculated the amounts for securities and cash escrows from the developer <br />that were due for design, construction observation, the City's legal <br />expenses, and record drawings <br /> <br />. Assisted with negotiation of developer contribution to trunk facilities and <br />oversight <br /> <br /> <br />. Reviewed streets and utilities for conformance with City, County, and <br />MnjDOT standards <br /> <br />. Verified that design was coordinated with adjacent City, County, and <br />private development projects <br /> <br />. Reviewed and assisted in design for storm water treatment, including trunk <br />storm sewer systems, infiltration basins, storm ceptors, created wetlands, <br />DNR and FEMA flood requirements, box culvert design, hydraulic risk <br />analysis, outlet controls, and water quality treatment requirements <br /> <br />. Evaluated and assisted in the design for roundabouts <br /> <br />. Held regular meetings with the developer's engineer and City staff, <br />including Public Works, to make certain designs met the City expectations, <br />requirements and future maintenance needs. Public Works staff commented <br />that we were the first to include them in these meetings and appreciative we <br />considered them in the review process to give them a chance to be actively <br />involved. <br /> <br /> <br />. Provided construction observation on some of the projects to verify that the <br />construction was consistent with the approved construction plans <br /> <br />. WSB staff became very familiar with the projects during the review <br />process, so during the construction phase, we were able to proactively <br />address issues before they occurred <br /> <br />.
