<br /> <br />Kimley-Horn has assisted the Cny of <br />New Brighton with various planning and <br />design services for the redevelopment <br />of the Northwest Quadrant area of the <br />city. The Northwest Quadrant is a 100- <br />acre redevelopment site located along <br />Old Highway 8 and adjacent to 1-35W <br />and 1-694 in New Brighton. The various <br />improvements in the Northwest Quadrant area include environmental <br />cleanup, soil correction, building demolition, mass grading, utility (sanitary <br />sewer, water main, and storm sewer) replacement, street constructionl <br />reconstruction, storm water pondingfinfiltration areas, sidewalk/trails, <br />street lighting, and landscapelurban design enhancements. Kimley-Horn assisted <br />the City of New Brighton in obtaining $400,000 in MnlDOT Routes of <br />Regional Significance funding for the Old Highway 8 improvements <br />project and also coordinated the proposed improvements with Ramsey <br />County.
