He stated he would like to have a <br />conditional use permit available for a height in excess of 12 feet. <br /> <br />Chair Sand stated at the work session they discussed the height allowed. <br /> <br />Ms. Beekman stated the variance process would be available for anyone who <br />wanted a height beyond what the ordinance states. She stated a hardship would <br />need to be shown for the height. <br /> <br />Chair Sand stated 12 feet high is to the top of the RV without mechanical <br />equipment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman stated there are State regulations for the height. <br /> <br />Chair Sand closed the public hearing at 8:] 1 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson requested that the language in the proposed ordinance <br />should state "six foot privacy fence" and "administrative land use permit" <br />throughout the ordinance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson moved, seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman, to <br />recommend approval of Planning Case #07-025, Zoning Code Text Amendment <br />for RV Storage; City of Arden Hills; 1245 West Highway 96 with the updates <br />discussed, December 5, 2007 report. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br />
