Chair Sand stated Mr. Mertensetto's property arrangement is unique. Mr. Mertensetto stated there is another area where there is an alley providing access to their homes. Ms. Beekman stated the ordinance wouldn't apply to private streets or easements on private property. Chair Sand stated they have received several emails regarding the proposed ordinances changes. Richard Gonzalez, 344] Lake Johanna Blvd., stated he has a few concerns and would like to be able to store a canoe on the long thin beach. He stated it appears that boats need to be stored on trailers and it isn't possible to get a trailer to that portion of the property. Commissioner Larson stated the shore]and ordinance will deal with the beach front. Ms. Beekman stated canoes have been excluded from the RV ordinance. Chair Sand stated the canoe could be stored on the beach front. Mr. Gonzalez stated there isn't 10 feet from the beach front on the lakefront property. Ms. Beekman stated the non-motorized watercraft will be in a separate ordinance. She stated the RV ordinance allows for a land use permit to be granted when the topography doesn't allow for the storage according to the ordinance. Mr. Gonzalez inquired about the requirement to have a principal structure located on the property. Mr. Lehnhoff stated there are a number of properties on Lake Johanna that are one parcel, but are split. He stated a few are two separate parcels. Mr. Lehnhoff stated it is possible to combine the parcels into one parcel through the County. Commissioner Larson inquired if the parcels were combined for tax purposes, if it would satisfy the ordinance. Mr. Lehnhoff stated it would. Chair Sand stated the concern is about the storage ofRVs on vacant lots in the City that don't have principal structures. Mr. Gonzalez inquired about the intent of allowing owners on the lake to have two extra R V s if they have shoreland. Mr. Lehnhoff stated he would view his lot as one shoreland parcel.
