<br />. Junc 19, 2007 - a Public Open House was held at North Heights Chureh to present and <br />discuss thc proccss for the rclocation of impacted homcs and busincsscs, <br /> <br />. July 9, 2007 - a City Council meeting was held with the Arden Manor Residenee <br />Association. At this meeting the projeet planning to date was discussed as well as <br />possible options to shift the alignment of Highway 10 to the east. <br /> <br />. July 23, 2007 - a City Council meeting was held with Arden Hills residents residing north <br />of Interstate 694, west of Hamline A venue and to the city limits nOl1h and west. The <br />attendanee at this meeting was primarily residents of the Briarknoll neighborhood and the <br />Arden Manor neighborhood. At this meeting general discussion on the projcct planning <br />to date occurred. Also discussed were downgrading the functional status of Highway 10, <br />keeping the traffic signaL and noise issues to the surrounding neighborhoods. <br /> <br />. July 23, 2007 - thc Mayor and City Council received a lettcr Jl'om MnDOT Metro District <br />Traflic Engineer, Amr JabI', confinning MnDOT support of a grade separation at <br />Highway 10 and 96, This letter clarified safety conccrns that wcrc misrcprescnted, In <br />addition, this Ictter eonfirmed that MnDOT would not support a sccond trat1ic signal on <br />this section of highway. <br /> <br />. August 13 & 20, 2007 - the City Council held work sessions to continue discussions on <br />the project. These two meetings f()cuscd on receiving feedback from thc City Council on <br />six questions relating to the project. <br />o Should the City of Arden Hills support a grade separated intersection at Highway <br />10 and County Road 96') <br />() Should Arden Hills support the continued reconstruction of CR 96 to the west of <br />North Heights Church, continuing west to thc City limits at 1-35W') <br />o Should the TCAAI' property havc access to Highway 10'1 <br />(; If therc is a grade separated intersection at 10/96, should the connecting (tuming) <br />traffic between these two highways be directed through TCAAP or on the west <br />side of Highway 10') <br />o If there is a more limited access onto Highway 10, how should access to the tip of <br />thc triangle be accomplishcd') <br />() What elemcnts of noisc rcmediation should the Council direct the preliminary <br />design enginecrs to considcr in their studics? <br />The City Council eamc to a consensus on thc answcrs to thesc questions, howcver it was <br />not unanimous. <br /> <br />. September 10, 2007 - at the City Couneil meeting, Ken Hclvey, Reloeation Consultant, <br />provided a presentation on the rights of displaced homeowners and the benefits they are <br />entitled to. This was a f()lIow up presentation to the June 19, 2007 meeting with the <br />Ardcn Manor residents to further clarify and explain the process and benefits, <br />
