<br />Subd. 187 Watercraft. Motorized water-oriented vehicles includinQ, but <br />not limited to, power boats, cruisers, iet skies, fishinQ/huntinQ boats, <br />pontoon boats, and any non-motorized craft with Qreater than a two <br />person capacity. This definition excludes non-motorized one and two <br />person crafts such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. <br /> <br />1325,10 1325.12 Recreational Vehicle, Utility Trailer and, Watercraft Outdoor <br />StoraQe. Recreational Vehicles (RV's), The restrictions set out in this section on the <br />outdoor pmking and storage of recreational vehicles is necessary for the peace, health, <br />saf-oty and welfare of the citizens of Arden Hills. Yet it is r-ecognized that there are so <br />many kinds of recreational vehicles and so R'!any shapes and sizes of lots and land <br />parcels within the City, that no matter what restrictions are placed upon their outdoor <br />parking and storage, hardships "vill result to some owners of recreational vehicles and <br />nuisances will result to some non owners. Therefore in an attempt to avoid such <br />hardships and nuisances, a systeR'! for regulating the storage of RV's is hereby <br />established, The unreQulated outside parkinQ and outside storaQe of recreational <br />vehicles, utility trailers, and watercraft within a residential use district is found to <br />create a nuisance, hazard and detrimental influence upon the public health, safety <br />and Qeneral welfare of the community by obstructinQ the view on streets and on <br />private property, brinQinQ noise and odors into residential areas, creatinQ <br />cluttered and otherwise unsiQhtly areas, preventinQ the full use of residential <br />streets for residential parkinQ, reducinQ the useable open space of streets and <br />private property and otherwise adversely affectinQ residential property values <br />and neiQhborhood maintenance and improvement. <br /> <br />Subd. 1 General Regulations for RV!s Recreational Vehicles (RVs), <br />Utility Trailers, and Watercraft in All Districts. <br /> <br />A. Storage in an Enclosed Structure. RV~, utility trailers, and <br />watercraft of any height or length may be kept within an <br />enclosed structure which othel"\"Iise provided the structure <br />conforms to the underlyina zoning requirements of the <br />district. <br /> <br />B. Attachment to Ground Not Permitted. RV~, utility trailers, <br />and watercraft shall be mobile Lind shall not be permanently <br />affixed to the ground in a manner that would prevent removal. <br />RVs and watercraft not permitted to be operated on public <br />streets shall be placed on or in a trailer or motor vehicle. <br /> <br />C.
