The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />S. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Approve Resolution 2008-016 for the Vacation of Various <br />Easements and a Public Right-of-Wav as Part of the Final Plat for the <br />Traverse Business Center as Proposed in the March 31, 2008, Memorandum <br />to the City Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead opened the public hearing at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead closed the public hearing at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to table Resolution 2008-016 for the Vacation of Various <br />Easements and a Public Right-of-Way as Part of the Final Plat for the <br />Traverse Business Center as Proposed in the March 31, 2008, <br />Memorandum to the City Council to the next City Council meeting. The <br />motion carried unanimously (4-0) <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Award the Contract dated 3/11/08 for the City Hall Masonry <br />Facade Repairs Proiect to A.J. Spaniers Companv, Inc., for an amount not to <br />exceed $221.790.00. and to Wiss. Janev. Elstner, for an amount not to exceed <br />$23,000.00 <br /> <br />Arden Hills Building Official Dave Scherbel stated that they are making a recommendation to <br />go with the lowest bidder, AJ. Spanjers Company, Inc. for the repairs needed at City Hall. <br /> <br />Brian Pashina ofWiss, Janey, Elstner provided a PowerPoint presentation showing what repairs <br />need to be made, the areas of the building that have been damaged, the type of repairs that <br />would be made and the cost ofthose repairs. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead asked if the City had adeqnate funding for these repairs. <br /> <br />Finance Director Sue Iverson stated that the City had budgeted for these repairs in the CIP <br />Program and there was adequate funding at this time. <br />
