<br /> <br /> i <br /> <br /> BUILDINGS § 6-41 <br /> <br /> Sec. 6-38. Conflict of intereat. <br /> No inspector, or his deputy, ahall have afinancial interest <br /> in any concern engaged in a business within the city and <br /> within his respective field. (Ord. No. 191, § 7(k), 8-11-75) <br /> <br /> Sec. 6-38. Enforcement and administration. <br /> Each inspector, and his deputy, is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to enforce and administer all the provisions of this <br /> chapter and the provisions of any other city ordinance in <br /> his respective field. For such purpose, each inspector, and <br /> his deputy, shall have the powers of a police officer. (Ord. <br /> No. 191, § 7(a), 8-11-75) <br /> Sec. 6-40. fteports and records. <br /> (a) Each inspector shall submit a written report to the <br /> clerk-administrator not less than once a year, covering his <br /> work during the preceding period. He shall incorporate in <br /> said report a summary of his recommendationa as to <br /> desirable amendments to this chapter and any other <br /> ordinances of the city. Each inspector shall keep accurate <br /> written records of his work. <br /> (b) The clerk-administrator may require each inspector to <br /> make written reporta on a regular and recurring basis. The <br /> clerk-administrator shall keep a permanent, accurate <br /> account of all fees and other moneys collected and received <br /> under this chapter, the names of persons upon whose <br /> account the same were paid, the date and amount thereof, <br /> together with the location of the building or premises to <br /> which they relate. (Ord. No. 191, § 7(b), 8-I1-75) <br /> Sec. 6-41. Bight of entry. <br /> i <br /> (a) Whenever necessary to make an inapection to enforce <br /> any of the provisiona of this chapter or the provisions of any <br /> other applicable ordinance of the city or whenever an <br /> inspector, or his deputy, has reasonable cause to believe <br /> that there egists in any building or upon any premises, any <br /> condition which makea such building or premises unsafe as <br /> 309 <br />
