<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> § 6-41 ARDEN HILLS CODE <br /> <br /> defined hereinafter, the inspector, or his deputy, may enter <br /> such building or premises at all reasonable times to inspect <br /> the same or to perform any duty imposed upon him by this <br /> chapter, provided that if such building or premises be <br /> occupied, he shall first present proper credentials and <br /> demand entry; and if such building or premises be <br /> unoccupied, he shall firat make a reasonable effort to locate <br /> the owner or other persons having charge or control of the <br /> building or premises and demand entry. If such entry is <br /> refused, the inspector, or his deputy, ahall have recourse to <br /> every remedy provided by law to secure entry. <br /> (b) No owner or occupant or any other person having <br /> charge, care or control of any building or premises shall fail <br /> or neglect, after proper demand is made as herein provided, <br /> to promptly permit entry therein by the inapector, or his <br /> deputy, for the purpose of inspection and egamination <br /> pursuant to this chapter and the provisions of any other <br /> applicable ordinance of the city. Any person violating thia <br /> ' subsection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. No. 191, § <br /> 7(c), 8-11-75) . <br /> Sec. 6-42. Judgment. <br /> Each inspector, or his deputy, ahall pasa upon all <br /> ~ queations relating to strength, durability, appearance and <br /> general workmanship of the inatallation, work, building, <br /> structure or premises inspected by him. Safety tests. <br /> Each inspector, or his deputy, may make such tests or <br /> order such tests to be made as he may deem necessary to <br /> determine the safety of the condition of any installation, <br /> material, machinery, building, structure, premises or part <br /> thereof which is his duty to inspect pursuant to this chapter <br /> or the provisions of any other applicable ordinance of the <br /> city.
