IN GENEftALt <br /> Sec. 18-1. Uninvited peddling and solicitation a nuisance. <br /> <br /> The practice of going in or upon private residences by solici- <br /> tors, peddlers, hawkers, itinerant merchants or transient ven- <br /> dors of inerchandise-not having been requested or invited to do <br /> so by the owner(s) or occupant(s) of such private residences-for <br /> the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares and <br /> merchandise and/or disposing of, peddling or hawking the same, <br /> is hereby declared to be a nuisance and punishable as a misde- <br /> meanor.
