The following signs shall require <br /> planning commission review and council approval <br /> before a permit will be issued: <br /> (1) Area identification signs; <br /> (2) Institutional signs; <br /> (3) Street directory signs; <br /> (4) Directional signs (if more than two (2) per site); <br /> (5) Informational signs (if more than two (2) per site); <br /> (6) Flags containing logos, symbols or names of a <br /> private business or institution; <br /> (7) Groupings of three (3) or more flags, including <br /> national and state flags; <br /> (8) Sign plans for: <br /> (a) Multiple occupancy business and industrial <br /> structures; <br /> (b) Shopping centers; <br /> (c) Office and industrial parks; <br /> (d) Planned unit developments consisting of two <br /> (2) or more structures. <br /> (D) Signs requiring special use permit. The following <br /> signs shall require a special use permit: <br /> (1) Roof signs; <br /> (2) Wall graphics; <br /> (3) Signs not specifically permitted by this ehapter. <br /> (E) Signs requiring council approual only.
