§ 22-8 AftDEN HILLS CODE Where adjoining areas are not subdivided, the arrange- ment of streets in new subdivisions shall make provision for the proper projection of the streets. (c) Streets: (1) Widths. All street widths shall conform to the following minimum dimensions: . When connecting atreet lines deflect from each other at any one point by more than ten (10) degrees, they shall be connected by a curve with a radius adequate to insure a sight distance of not leas than three hundred (300) feet for local and collector streets, and of such greater radii as the city council shall determine for special cases. (3) Reverse curves. Tangents of at least fifty (50) feet in length shall be introduced between reverse curves on collector streets. (4) Street grades. Different connecting atreet gradients ahall be connected with vertical parabolic curves. Minimum length, in feet, of these curves shall be fifteen (15) times the arithmetical difference in the per cent of grade of the two (2) adjacent slopes. (6) Local streets. Local streets shall be so aligned that their use by through traffic will be diacouraged. 1288
