ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - June 30, 2008 8 Mayor Harpstead suggested that the sentence read: it shall be constructed of the same or better materials, design and appearance~ Councilmember Holmes stated that these buildings housed expensive equipment and the owners were going to be sure to maintain them in order to protect their investments. City Administrator Moorse asked if the phrase the same or better referred to just brick or if other building materials of similar quality could be used. Planner I Beekman stated that any additional buildings that would be constructed would be part of conditional use permits and the City could address the building materials at the time of the permit request. City Planner James Lehnhoff suggested adding the wording "as determined by the City". City Attorney Jerry Filla stated that it could be stated that the equipment building needed to be approved by the City and strike the rest of the paragraph. Planner I Beekman stated that this change would work. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and CounciJmember McClung seconded a Motion to Approve Ordinance 2008-008 in Planning Case 08-017 to Amend Section 1325.09 Subd. 6B and Subd. 7 of the Zoning Code Regarding Ground Structures for Antenna Equipment at City Water Tower Sites as Amended in the June 30, 2008, Memo to the City Council. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). Planner I Beekman stated that the notion language for publishing this change was omitted [rom the agenda and that it would need to be approved. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a Motion to Approve Publishing a Summary of Section 1325.09 Subd. 6B and Subd. 7 of the Zoning Code Regarding Ground Structures for Antenna Equipment at City Water Tower Sites. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS None.
