<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - June 30, 2008 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead suggested that the sentence read: it shall be constructed of the <br />same or better materials, design and appearance~ <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated that these buildings housed expensive equipment <br />and the owners were going to be sure to maintain them in order to protect their <br />investments. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse asked if the phrase the same or better referred to just <br />brick or if other building materials of similar quality could be used. <br /> <br />Planner I Beekman stated that any additional buildings that would be constructed <br />would be part of conditional use permits and the City could address the building <br />materials at the time of the permit request. <br /> <br />City Planner James Lehnhoff suggested adding the wording "as determined by <br />the City". <br /> <br />City Attorney Jerry Filla stated that it could be stated that the equipment building <br />needed to be approved by the City and strike the rest of the paragraph. <br /> <br />Planner I Beekman stated that this change would work. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and CounciJmember McClung <br />seconded a Motion to Approve Ordinance 2008-008 in Planning Case <br />08-017 to Amend Section 1325.09 Subd. 6B and Subd. 7 of the Zoning <br />Code Regarding Ground Structures for Antenna Equipment at City <br />Water Tower Sites as Amended in the June 30, 2008, Memo to the <br />City Council. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />Planner I Beekman stated that the notion language for publishing this change was <br />omitted [rom the agenda and that it would need to be approved. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Mayor Harpstead <br />seconded a Motion to Approve Publishing a Summary of Section <br />1325.09 Subd. 6B and Subd. 7 of the Zoning Code Regarding Ground <br />Structures for Antenna Equipment at City Water Tower Sites. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />None. <br />
