<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - August 11, 2008 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if Public Works Director Hoag had found out why <br />Roseville cross streets were given for an emergency call that was in Arden Hills and <br />if this problem has been alleviated. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Hoag stated that he has not gotten an answer regarding <br />what happened or if the problem had been fixed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if all calls to 911 were now answered by a message <br />system before being transferred to a dispatcher or if this was something that <br />happens when the dispatch center is busy. She stated that the extra time it took for <br />the message to play could be important when determining the call response time. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung asked when the response time starts, if it is at the first <br />ring or if it is when the call is transferred to the dispatch center. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Hoag stated that the dispatch center has all the information <br />for answering the call at the first ring. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked Public Works Director Hoag to follow up on the <br />recorded message and find out if this is standard practice. <br /> <br />Public Works Director stated that he would ask the question and follow up with <br />the Council. <br /> <br />Public <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead opened the public inquiries/informational at 7: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead closed the public inquiries/information at 7: 16 p.m. <br /> <br />3. Julv 16~ 2008 City Council TCAAP Worksession <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden <br />seconded a motion to approve the July 16, 2008 City Council TCAAP <br />W orksession minutes as presented.
