<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - June 29, 2009 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />concerns that there may be confusion regarding what plan has the consensus of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated that the Resolution should have a title. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that this would be helpful. <br /> <br />City Attorney Filla stated that the word plan in the "Now therefore be it resolved" <br />section could be changed to planes). <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that the Council wanted to be clear that there was <br />only one plan that had the Council consensus. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if the resolution being presented addressed this <br />concern. <br /> <br />City Attorney Filla stated that it does address the concern that this is the only plan <br />with Council consensus. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that he wanted it to be known that this was the <br />adopted plan of the Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem McClung stated that until a plan has a majority vote at a regular <br />meeting it does not have the support of the Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated that the Resolution states "Now therefore be it <br />resolved by the City of Arden Hills to establish a strong but flexible reuse plan" and <br />provides guidelines. The Council is resolving to establish a plan utilizing the <br />guidelines outlined in the Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem McClung asked who is establishing a strong but flexible reuse <br />plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that at this time there are several entities that could <br />be identified. The Council is providing direction to other people and this <br />Resolution represents the Council's vision. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant <br />seconded a motion to amend the statement "Now therefore be it <br />resolved by the City of Arden Hills to establish a strong but flexible <br />reuse plan" to read "Now therefore be it resolved that the City of <br />Arden Hills supports a strong but flexible reuse plan that would <br />
