ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—March 8, 2010 24 D. Approve Ordinance 2010-005 to Amend Section 630 of the City Code Regarding Construction Activity as Presented in the March 8, 2010, Report to the City Council, and Approve Publication of a Summary of Ordinance 2010- 002 Approve Ordinance 2010-006 to Amend the 2010 Fee Schedule to Add a Construction Activity Waiver Application Fee as Presented in the March 8, 2010, Report to the City Council, and Approve Publication of a Summary of Ordinance 2010-006 MOTION: Mayor Har stead moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to Table Ordinance 2010-005 to Amend Section 630 of the City Code Regarding Construction Activity as Presented in the March 8, 2010, Report to the City Council, and Approve Publication of a Summary of Ordinance 2010-002 and Ordinance 2010-006 to Amend the 2010 Fee Schedule to Add a Construction Activity Waiver Application Fee as Presented in the March 8, 2010, Report to the City Council, and Approve Publication of a Summary of Ordinance 2010- 006. The motion carried unanimously(5-0). MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved to table Resolution 2010-014 A resolution Establishing a Personnel Committee. The motion failed due to lack of a second. H. Adopt Resolution 2010-012, a Resolution Supporting State Senator Satveer Chaudhary in Authoring a Bill Requesting Decreases in the Speed Limits of the Sections of US Highway 10 and Trunk Highway 51 Within the City of Arden Hills to 50 m.p.h. Adopt Resolution 2010-013, a Resolution Supporting State Representative Kate Knuth in Authoring a Bill Requesting Decreases in the Speed Limits of the Sections of US Highway 10 and Trunk Highway 51 Within the City of Arden Hills to 50 m.p.h. Acting City Administrator Iverson stated at the February 16, 2010 City Council worksession, the Council reported on Senator Chaudhary's open house and that he was interested in working with the City on reducing speed limits on US 10 and T.H. 51 through Arden Hills. Council directed Staff to draft a resolution of support to Senator Chaudhary to author legislation and to draft a separate resolution for Representative Knuth.
