ARDEN HILLS CITY COL7NCIL-July 13, 2009 22 <br /> City Planner Beekman stated that condition 10 on page 5 of the Council Report. <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that this condition does not have numbers in it. <br /> City Planner Beekman stated that this was correct. The Planning Commission had <br /> recommended that the signage be approved as presented so there was no need for a <br /> condition that specified numbers. <br /> Councilmember McClung clarified that the motion was for a new condition and <br /> not an amendment to an existing condition. <br /> The motion to add Condition 23 was called to a vote. The motion carried (4-1 — <br /> Mayor Harpstead). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Grant <br /> seconded a motion to add Condition 24 to completely remove all <br /> obsolete signs or signs from vacant spaces and the underlying building <br /> painted and cleaned for building five. <br /> Mayor Harpstead asked if this would be a reasonable request. <br /> City Planner Beekman stated that this could be tied to the PUD because this <br /> would be part of the B2 Guiding Plan Guidelines. <br /> Mr. Trooien clarified that this condition was referring to the removal of signs for - <br /> those spaces that had been vacated. <br /> The motion to add Condition 24 was called to a vote. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> Councilmember Holden asked if there was going to be planters in front of building <br /> five. <br /> Mr. Schroeder stated that new plantings had been put in place last year for <br /> building five and there were no other updates planned at this time. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated that she would like to see additional bike racks <br /> added. <br /> Mr. Wellington stated that there are bike racks on the side of Frattalone's but they <br /> would be able to add additional racks. <br />
