AR-DEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL-July 13, 2009 32 <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that he agreed with Councilmember Holmes. He <br /> approves of the site location and the need for the students and faculty. <br /> Councilmember Grant stated that if the intent is to provide service to the students <br /> then it does not need to be 75 feet tall. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated concerns about the proposed location of the tower <br /> and equipment shed. She stated that she was under the impression that AT&T <br /> would be looking into an internal alternative. <br /> Councilmember Grant stated that Sprint does use internal equipment and AT&T <br /> had not considered this option. <br /> The motion was called to a vote. The motion carried (3-2 — Mayor Harpstead and <br /> Councilmember Holmes). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Holden <br /> seconded a motion to extend the meeting an additional thirty minutes <br /> to 11:00 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> 9. COUNCIL COMMENTS ANDRE UESTS <br /> Mayor Harpstead asked Councilmember Holmes if she wanted to further discuss <br /> the traffic signal that was located at the corner of Glenview and Dellview. <br /> Councilmember Holmes asked if the stop sign should be left in place until after - <br /> the Council had a chance to discuss a policy and procedure. <br /> City Attorney Filla stated that the traffic signal could stay in place but it would not <br /> be enforceable at this time. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated that it may be better to take the sign down at this <br /> time. <br /> Mayor Harpstead asked who had put the stop sign up. <br /> Public Works Director Hoag stated that he had Staff put the sign in place. <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that he would be comfortable with taking the stop sign <br /> down at this time. He stated that the Council would be going over the policy and <br /> this would be brought up to a vote by the Council. <br />
