ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL August 30, 2010 12 <br />8.A. Resolution 2010 -039: Adopting Proposed Special Assessment Roll for the 2010 Pavement <br />Management Program (continued) <br />Councilmember Holden asked if the plumbing issues these property owners had were something <br />the City needs to address at this time. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated Staff did contact the property owners and informed them that they <br />may submit their claim if they would like it to be addressed by the contractor's insurance <br />company. <br />Councilmember Grant asked if the damage was a result of the water being turned off. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated the damage resulted from the water being turned off. <br />Mayor Harpstead stated this was not an assessment issue. There are processes and procedures in <br />place that provide options to the property owner for this claim. <br />The motion was called to a vote. <br />The motion carried unanimously (4 -0). <br />MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to <br />Deny the Written Objection of Scott and Kathryn Schunemann Relating to <br />Parcel ID No. 213023120047, 4075 Valentine Crest Road, for the Following <br />Reasons: The project was Constructed Pursuant to Approved Plans and <br />Specifications, The Parcel Will Receive a Special Benefit Equal to the <br />Proposed Special Assessment, and the Parcel is Specially Assessed Pursuant to <br />the City's Special Assessment Policy. The motion carried unanimously (4 -0). <br />MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to <br />Deny the Written Objection of Kathleen Smith Relating to Parcel ID No. <br />213023430007, 4109 Valentine Crest Road, for the Following Reasons: The <br />project was Constructed Pursuant to Approved Plans and Specifications, The <br />Parcel Will Receive a Special Benefit Equal to the Proposed Special <br />Assessment, and the Parcel is Specially Assessed Pursuant to the City's <br />Special Assessment Policy.
