At least twenty -five (25%) percent of the perimeter of the water <br />feature shall have a maintained shoreline that compliments or is <br />connected to the community gathering space. A maintained shoreline <br />may include manicured vegetation and /or an improved surface. The <br />remaining shoreline may include a natural vegetative buffer and /or <br />other natural materials. <br />2. Dedication to the Public. The City reserves the right to require all or a <br />Y g q <br />portion of the park, recreation, pathway, and open space system to be <br />dedicated to the public. The City may require all or a portion of the system to <br />be privately managed and maintained by a business improvement district, <br />homeowners association, or other similar organization as approved by the <br />City, provided that the system remains open to the general public. <br />D. Environmental Remediation. Prior to the City accepting any dedicated <br />land for park and open space uses, the applicant shall complete the <br />environmental remediation to levels acceptable for recreational uses as <br />regulated by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA).
