City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 13, 2011 <br /> <br />Attorney Glaser explained that this agreement is currently in the formative stages and at <br />any point, the City may choose not to participate due to a voluntary out clause. Attorney <br />Glaser stated that there is no fee to participate, it is funded by the Federal Government <br />and is basically a listing of equipment, that if needed, the City could utilize. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to <br />approve the MnWARN Membership Agreement as presented. Ayes – 3, Nays – 1 <br />(King). Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Change Order #1 – Downtown Storm Water Reclamation System – Contract C <br />(Irrigation System Controls) <br /> <br />Engineer Statz stated that upon Staff’s suggestions for modifications to the original <br />contract, the change order was instituted for the system controls. Engineer Statz also <br />stated that completion dates have been contained in the change order process. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Change Order #1 – Downtown Storm Water Reclamation System – <br />Contract C (Irrigation System Controls) as presented. All in favor. Motion Passed <br />Unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation for Designation of Interim <br />Uses in B-1 District <br /> <br />Administrator Larson stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission at their last meeting <br />chose to recommend to Council their findings and decision regarding the interim uses in <br />the B-1 District. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, <br />to approve the Findings & Decision of the Planning & Zoning Commission relating <br />to Designation of Interim Uses in the B-1 District (Industrial Park, Block 1, Lots 3-9. <br />All in favor. Motion Passed Unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Trail Project ~ Report Impacts of State Shutdown <br /> <br />Engineer Statz reported that upon the State’s shutdown, all trail project construction had <br />been halted. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson informed Council that while the City was hoping there was a way <br />to restart the project, it is not feasible and there are too many risks in doing so. Thus, the <br />project will remain suspended. There are erosion control procedures in place that the <br />contractor will continue to monitor. <br /> <br /> <br />7.St. Paul Board of Water Commissioners/City of Centerville Permit Agreement ~ <br />Use of Property by Bald Eagle Water Ski Club <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />
