Public Works Director City of Line Lakes Lino Lakes, MN 55014 RE: LAURIE LAMOTfE PARK, CITY OF CENTERVILLE Dear Mr_ Ahrens: We are working on a grading and drainage plan for Laurie Lamotte Park for the City of Centerville. Attached is a preliminary plan based on a meeting with the Rice Creek Watershed District. In that m=eting, they had discussed the desire to have drainage from the new parking lot to drain to the southwest ccrner of the park and Into the unnamed ditch. Presently, drainage flows into a culvert located about 260 feet south of Lamotte Drive and onto property within ;he City of Lino Lakes. The preliminary grading results In a large amount of excavation and cuts up to 10 feet deep. The purpose of this letter is to request permission to continue with the current drainage pa"L em and maintain the flow of water d':rectly onto property within the City of Lino Lakes before reaching the unnamed ditch. Conditions of this proposed situation would include, at the least, construction of a retainingftreatmant pond upstream of the culvert and approval of the RCWD and the City of Saint Paul Water Utility (who are owners of the land along the municipal boundary.)
