Mr. Nyberg mentioned Centerville could adopt a policy for Lino Lakes properties that want to
hook up to Centerville utilities. Mr. Nyberg said a joint powers agreement concerning the
reconstruction of Cedar Street should be mentioned as something the Cities need to work
towards.
Each member of the Council was asked if eight years seemed to be an acceptable number of years
as a minimum for the operation of the water interconnect. The consensus of the Council was that
this was acceptable for the initial agreement.
Mr. Rehbein had indicated to Dave Nyberg that he will sign the developer's agreement in regards
to his property.
Council discussed 1998 goals and objectives. Each councilmember will rank their top 15 goals
for 1998 and then the goals will be compiled into one master list.
MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht, seconded by Councilmember Brenner to adjourn the
workshop meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jim March
City Administrator
3
