MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to table discussion on the Light Industrial District until <br /> further information is gathered. Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> City Pin <br /> Mayor Wilharber suggested revisiting purchasing a Centerville logo pin. Mayor Wilharber <br /> questioned the Councils desire to purchase logo pins. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to authorize Staff to order 250 pins for the City of <br /> Centerville and the cost be financed out of the supply fund at $2.44 each. Motion seconded by <br /> Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3.2 Beer Permit - Lions Club International <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the 3.2 Beer Permit for the Centerville <br /> Lions Club on July 25, 26 and 27th. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Noise Permit - Lions Club International <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve a noise permit for Friday is bingo and for <br /> the Saturday street dance until Mid- night. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Office Equipment <br /> Ms. Gaustad distributed a three dimensional office arrangement map and a quote to replace the <br /> current office equipment. Ms. Gaustad indicated this was for review and future consideration. <br /> Police Report <br /> A brief overview was given on the June Police Commission meeting and their 1998 budgetary <br /> issues. Mayor Wilharber reported both Lexington and Circle Pines could not foresee an annual <br /> increase more than three percent. Further suggesting the City investigate the Police contract to <br /> change current Police coverage to 24 hour coverage, since this could be a valued service to the <br /> community. <br /> Mayor Wilharber suggested developing a committee of volunteers from the City who would like <br /> to investigate, along with a Council member and City Staff about the feasibility of a Joint Police <br /> Department. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to a approve Police article in the summer newsletter. <br /> Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> City Banner <br /> Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested the City purchase a banner that can be used repeatedly for <br /> 6 <br />
