CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 25, 1996 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held a <br /> regular council meeting on September 25, 1996, at the City Hall. Mayor Wilharber called <br /> the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Tom Wilharber Theresa Brenner <br /> Sanna Buckbee Laura Powers - Rasmussen <br /> Mary Jo Helmbrecht <br /> STAFF /CONSULTANTS: Jim March John Stewart <br /> Ry -Chel Gaustad Dean Johnson <br /> Dave Nyberg <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve the September 11, 1996 <br /> minutes with corrections. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: <br /> Centennial Fire District - MOTION by Wilharber, seconded by Brenner to approve the <br /> Centennial Fire Districts disbursements. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> City of Centerville - MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Brenner to approve the city's <br /> disbursements. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Wilharber questioned the FEMA payment. Nyberg stated FEMA indicated by letter they <br /> would contact the city within 60 days if fees exceeded $3,500. The final cost is $3,966.00 <br /> an overage of $410.00, subtracting a credit of $1,065.00 from the first payment, which <br /> leaves $2,901.00 remaining. <br /> Pay Estimate No. I - Clearwater Meadows partial pay estimate No. 1. Helmbrecht <br /> commented she would like to see the percentage of the expenditures year to date included. <br /> MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve the Clearwater Meadows <br /> partial pay estimate number 1. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Pay Estimate No. 3- Main Street/Progress Road/Elementary School Watermain Extension <br /> Project. Helmbrecht suggested residents be informed of what steps need to be taken for <br />
