The estimated construction cost for this extension to the plat is $24,200. Easements would need to be obtained from the Westview Street right -of -way to the plat boundary. Option 3 includes extending watermain along Peltier Lake Drive and Centerville Road. The estimated construction cost for this watermain extension is $72,920. Please note that this cost only includes extension of watermain. Street reconstruction costs were not included in this estimate. No easements would be necessary for this work, as the watermain would be constructed within City right -of -way. SANITARY SEWER ISSUES A close sewer connection for the development would be to extend the sewer south from the existing stub at the dead -end of Centerville Road. As -built drawings of this sewer show the sewer at a minimal depth. To provide sewer service to the development without a lift station may require considerable fill to be transported to the site. The Developer of the property would need to provide a grading plan for review to determine the feasibility of utilizing this sewer co ection. WETLAND ISSUES The access road to Main Street is shown to be constructed through what appears to be a wetland area. The amendments to the Wetland Conservation Act passed earlier this year allow for certain impacts to wetlands for public road projects. However, the Corps of Engineers continues to regulate this type of activity and may require mitigation for the proposed street.
