City Council meeting minutes of May 8, 1996 Mayor Wilharber noted that P &Z had a mini storage proposal before them for 6 buildings each being 4500 square feet. Basically steel buildings with brick end faces. No city utilities would be used. P &Z referred it to EDC for comment. Mayor Wilharber reported that P &Z recommended approving the Barott lot split. Tmdi Breuninger explained that future drainage and utility easement would have to be provided on the property lines. Due to the lack of space between homes, whatever is available would be utilized for future easements. MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner as per P &Z recommendation, to approve the lot split for the Barott property on Main Street and drainage and utilities easements as per MSA's letter date April 18th. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Wilharber also reported that the TEA Group is interested in erecting another antenna tower adjacent to the existing tower. And Sprint is interested in installing an antenna on the water tower with a lease of $6 -9,000 a year. PAYMENT OF CLAIMS MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to approve the Centennial Fire District's expenditures dated May 2, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to approve the City of Centerville's receipts and disbursements dated April 25 -30, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers - Rasmussen to approve the City of Centerville's receipts and disbursements dated May 1 -8, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. MOTION by Wilharber, second by Buckbee to approve payment of the initial $4,000 to McGuire Iron and to continue negotiations on the re mainin g portion. Motion carried unanimously. ADJOURN MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers - Rasmussen to adjourn the regular city council meeting of May 8, 1996 at 11:35 p.m Motion carried unanimously.
