CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> MAY 22, 1996 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held <br /> their regular meeting on May 22, 1996 at the City Hall. Mayor Wilharber called the <br /> meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Wilharber Powers - Rasmussen <br /> Helmbrecht Brenner <br /> ABSENT: Buckbee <br /> STAFF /CONSULTANTS: Trudi Breuninger Paul Paizer <br /> Dave Nyberg Jim March <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION by Wilharber, second by Brenner to table the approval of minutes until the next <br /> council meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Brenne to approve the Centennial Fire District's <br /> expenditures dated May 20, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION by Brenner, second by Helmbrecht to approve the City of Centerville's receipts <br /> and disbursements dated May 9 -22, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> SET AGENDA <br /> Move Committee Reports after new business and add: Safety Committee, EDC, Animal <br /> Control, Recycling/Garage Sale. <br /> Add Jeff Glewwe, United Waste to Appearances <br /> Add to Old Business: Senior Housing Workshop, Drainage Update (Prairie Drive), Eagle <br /> Pass. <br /> Add to New Business: Ken Cook's position, Workshop dates. <br /> MOTION by Brenner, second by Powers - Rasmussen to approve the agenda for May 22, <br /> 1996, with the above noted additions and corrections. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Mayor Wilharber introduced the newly appointed Clerk - Administrator, Jim March.
