<br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the City could make that appraisal <br />available to the property owners. He then commented that they have paved most of that road <br />themselves with Arcade Asphalt putting tar down when they had extra. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated the City is trying to get the road up to standards. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked what would happen if there is a change in the <br />roadway due to the reconstruction of Main Street. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that if the County comes through they will have to make a <br />determination of benefit. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that if County Road 14 is redone there is the potential <br />that the intersection at 21 at Avenue may need to be moved. <br /> <br />Mr. Kozar asked what the tonnage of the road would be because the heavy trucks tear it <br />up. Mr. Peterson indicated the roadway would be constructed to 9-ton standards. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated he could see both sides of the situation but he feels it is <br />time to improve the street for the benefit of the majority. <br /> <br />Page 10 of 14 <br />
