<br />City of Centerville <br />August 13,2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that the City would be splitting the.costs three ways and the <br />City's portion would be $1,800. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Capra and seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve the repair of the culvert area at LaMotte Park at a cost not to exceed <br />$1.800.00. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VllI. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #77 (Clean Up of Clandestine Drug Lab Sites and Chemical Dump <br />Sites - Draft <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he has reviewed Ordinance #77 and will communicate <br />his revisions to the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the police reviewed Ordinance #77. <br /> <br />2. Mound Trail <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft reviewed the circumstances surrounding collections from.. Mr. <br />Buechler and the paving of Mound Trail. He then indicated that Staff seeks Council <br />direction on whether to pay to reconstruct beyond Buechler Estates into the cul-de-sac. <br />He further indicated that Council would want Mr. Buechler to come to Council with the <br />amounts for formal approval of the reconstruction. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked whether the property owners along that street can be <br />assessed. City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the City has not adopted the Pavement <br />Management Plan yet but could consider assessing the property owners for the <br />improvement. He then indicated that the amount, using the proposed calculation would <br />be around $1,200 per property for the road reconstruction. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated that the $54,000 includes doing the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer indicated that he had spoken to Mr. Drilling and he fine with that dollar <br />amount. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Capra and seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve the reconstruction of Mound Trail based on the recommendation of the <br />City Enlrlneer with the City's portion to cost $54.212. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Reconsideration of Park Dedication Land Peltier Preserve <br /> <br />This was handled as part of the discussion concerning the developer's agreement earlier <br />in the agenda. <br /> <br />Page 10 of 13 <br />
