<br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that she has no problem with the <br />preliminary plat approval pending approval of the developer's agreement and at the next <br />meeting she would like to have the information to make the decision on prepayment. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the City is looking at final plat approval subject to the <br />approval of the developer's agreement and Staff is to contact Eilertson concerning a <br />graph or chart with the interest information to be used as an exhibit to the agreement. He <br />also asked that the information be provided to the developer as soon as possible for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney asked whether all the required fees have been paid. Ms. Moore-Sykes <br />indicated that all fees have been paid at this point. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that on Page 8 under park dedication fees it says $3,000 <br />per lot times 20 lots but in another location it is $3,000 per lot times 19 lots. City <br />Attorney Hoeft indicated that the park dedication fees would be charged on the 19 newly <br />created lots not the existing home. <br /> <br />Mr. Gonyea asked whether they are subject to the increased park dedication fee because <br />those fees were raised during this approval process. City Attorney Hoeft indicated that <br />the current fee would be used because the agreement was not approved prior to the <br />increase in fees. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked about the park property. <br /> <br />Mr. Gonyea indicated that it is within the drainage and utility easement located on the <br />back part of Lot 1 and the City would have control over that. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that the idea was that the neighborhood kids fish there <br />and the idea was to give the property to the City for unimproved parkland so that the kids <br />could fish there without having to ask permission. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated he did no~ troperty as a park. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Thompson of 1657 Peltier Lake Drive indicated that at one point there was <br />discussion of digging a sedimentation pond in judicial ditch 3. - <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated the City had looked at having this arl'De a natural area <br />with a bench but no play equipment, just a City access so that the kids in the <br />neighborhood could go fishing there. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated this Council did discuss this early on and decided it did not <br />desire the property for a park. <br /> <br />Page 15 of24 <br />
