<br />Centerville City Council <br />May 28, 2003 <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />3. Pavement Management Plan (Update) <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated that his firm is approximately half-way done with the pavement <br />management plan and would have a recommendation for review soon. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she would like to have a rough estimate draft for use <br />during budgeting sessions by June 18, 2003. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney asked that water be included for those areas where there is not water and <br />the streets need reconstruction. He also asked that a ballpark figure for the assessable <br />amount be provided. <br /> <br />4. Municipal Water Management Plan (Update) <br /> <br />Mr. Peter~n 18th indicated he hoped to have a more complete draft of the <br />recommendation by the June 18, 2003 work session. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer indicated he received a letter on soil borings and would need approval for the <br />Cedar Street site and public works. <br /> <br />Council discussed the water tower sites and indicated that the only site to be considered <br />at this time is the public works site. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve soil testin!! for water tower placement on the public works site and to <br />locate where the water tower will be and !!et all three borin!!s reauired. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that she felt the interconnect needs to stay. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated the interconnect would benefit both cities and no one is talking <br />about removing it. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked if there was a time frame for when ponds should be <br />maintained as a part of the Water Management Plan. Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that she <br />and the City Clerk are working on that. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that cleaning out of ponds needs to be <br />added to the capital improvement budget discussions. <br /> <br />IX.
