<br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that the Metropolitan COilllcil would be meeting on Jillle 11, <br />2003 to hear this matter and COilllcil is not able to act until its meeting on Jillle 25,2003. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that the process seems different than when Pheasant <br />Marsh was completed. Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that the process is different than even <br />a few years ago and this--i.s!<:>ld how she was to submit it. <br /> <br />COilllcil Member Capra indicated there was one other question with regard to the <br />properties to the south east. She then said that it was brought to her attention by Mr. <br />Palzer that the COilllty would be taking property for an easement. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson indicated there are two issues to be resolved and he has not made it an urgent <br />issue because it is involved in the second phase but said negotiations are under way with <br />Mr. Krueger who encroaches on his property with a driveway. He then said that he wants <br />to work with him but is not sure that it is possible. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson indicated that he is not sure that the property owners are aware that 70 feet is <br />not a buildable lot and he would like to buy the property and incorporate it into the <br />development if they are willing to work with him. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee reviewed with Council the recommendations of Park and <br />Recreation concerning the development. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Macki indicated that Rice Creek Watershed District has asked for a letter from <br />the City indicating which storm water management features will be maintained by the <br />City. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated the City would need to add the ponds to its schedule of <br />ponds for maintenance if the ponds accept drainage from City streets. <br /> <br />Council asked Staff to work with the developer to draft the required letter indicating that <br />the City does not want to accept any extra ponds if it is not required. <br /> <br />COilllcil Member Capra indicated that there used to be a plat review check list and she <br />would like to have that again as she feels it is beneficial. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra. seconded bv Council Member Lee to continue <br />the hearine. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VII. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />1.
