City of Centerville <br /> P&R Meeting Minutes <br /> May 7,2014 <br /> Mr. King reported on DNR partnerships. <br /> 2. Surplus City Owned Property for Sale—7212 Mill Road <br /> Subsequent to being provide with copy of the deed, minutes, etc. it has been <br /> determined that in the past the Committee may have been given misinformation <br /> regarding its designation of Park. <br /> 3. Centennial Lakes Little League Schedule <br /> The schedule for the Centennial Lakes Little League was attached to the packet. <br /> 4. Chain of Lakes—Bald Eagle Regional Tail Master Plan <br /> The Committee discussed alternate routes that would be safer. Tabled. <br /> 5. Flag Football Tournament—Teng Mona <br /> The paperwork has been completed; not yet received is the waiver and parental <br /> approval. The weekends of May31/June 1 and August 9 & 10 have been reserved <br /> for these tournaments. The City Attorney had concerns that Teng Moua was not <br /> of legal age (17 instead of 18) but felt that he still remained liable for damages if <br /> they were to happen. <br /> 6. 2013 Uncommitted remaining Excess/Budget-$1,039.27 <br /> A resolution reserving unspent budget and revenue excesses in the amount of <br /> $1,039.27 from year 2013 and committing them for park purposes to be expended <br /> in 2014 was adopted by the City Council on April 23, 2014. Resolution #14- <br /> 020. <br /> 7. Hidden Springs Park Clean-up - Saturday, May 3, 2014 <br /> Representatives of the National Honor Society volunteered to clean up Hidden <br /> Springs Park on Saturday, May 3. Four volunteers showed up along with <br /> Committee Member Amundsen. They cleaned the bird houses, trimmed trees, <br /> picked up sticks and did a basic clean up. The lakeshore still requires a more <br /> intense clean up. <br /> 8. Movies in the Park—September, 2014 <br /> This activity is scheduled for September, 2014. Committee Member Peterson <br /> asked for additional ideas for movies; Frozen &the Lego Movie are two options. <br /> VII. ACTION ITEMS REVIEW <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
