<br />City of Centerville Permit - Bald EagleWaterski Club, It was noted that the <br />1. <br />Bald Eagle Waterski Club has agreed to pay the City $2500 in September <br />2014 and again in 2015. It is assumed that the $5000 is to be applied to the <br />purchase of the St Paul Water District land that lays between Trailside Park <br />and Centerville Lake. <br />5K/8K Run. Committee Chair Branch informed the Committee that he was <br />2. <br />late in the annual efforts to set up the races and to solicit community <br />sponsors for the event. Committee Chair Branch asked for the assistance of <br />committee members to agree to take leadership for specific race related <br />functions. The Committee Members rapidly agreed to do . <br /> <br />VI. UPDATES <br />1. Council Updates - see Committee Business item #1. <br />2. Music-In-The-Parks/Jam Update. Last night was the first of the 2014 season. <br />There was a fair turnout. However, the Committee needs to continue to work <br />on publicizing the concerts. <br />3. Anoka County Chain of Lakes - Bald Eagle Regional Trail Master Plan: <br />Committee Member Bettinger distributed an update master plan via e-mail this <br />afternoon. The trail location has been changed to transit through Lino Lakes <br />park land know as Birch Park. There will be a second public meeting at Wargo <br />Nature Center June 24, 2014. <br />4. Flag Football Tournament Saturday May 31 was cut short by heavy rains in <br />mid-afternoon. The tournament organizer and the three team captains agreed <br />not to continue the tournament. There is a second tournament on the schedule <br />for August 9-10. The event organizers will need to submit a special use permit <br />for that event. <br />5. Basketball Hoops: Committee Member Peterson present three options of <br />basketball standards that could be used. No firm decisions were made, however <br />the committee is in general agreement that to have a safe basketball court on the <br />hockey rink will require the most robust standard available. <br /> <br />VII ACTION ITEM REVIEW <br /> No new action items were added.
