September 13,2014, 2014 City Council Special Council Meeting Minutes <br /> The Mayor provided Council Members with an opportunity to amend the presented minutes. <br /> Mayor Wilharber requested that the spelling of Mr. Erickson be corrected to "Ericson". <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to approve <br /> the minutes of the September 13, 2014 City Council Special Council Meeting as presented <br /> with the above stated amendment. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. City of Centerville September 11, 2014 through September 24, 2014 Claims (Check <br /> #28966-28982)w/Voided Check#28972 & (Check#28983-28988) <br /> 2. Centennial Police Department Claims through September 11, 2014 (Check #10049- <br /> 10065) <br /> 3. Centennial Fire District Claims through September 19, 2014 (Check #6559-6573) <br /> w/Payroll (Check#6549-6558) <br /> 4. Successful Performance Review, Mr. Greg Burmeister—Lead Project Coordinator <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King to approve the <br /> Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Matthew Montain Proposal for Purchase of City's 1950s Studebaker and Pull-Behind <br /> Water Cart <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that Mr. Matthew Montain submitted a letter stating that his brother Mr. <br /> Adam Montain would be present this evening to answer questions due to his brother's absence. <br /> Mayor Wilharber reminded Council of their previous discussion regarding this item as they <br /> tabled the item from their previous meeting. Mayor Wilharber stated that Mr. Matthew Montain <br /> submitted a proposal to purchase the City's 1950s Studebaker and pull-behind water cart for <br /> $2,500, the Montain's (Matt and Adam) would have the items restored and make available for all <br /> City and Centennial Fire functions (schedules permitting) with full ownership being Mr. <br /> Matthew Montain's. Mr. Matthew Montain is agreeable to a written contract that included <br /> language that if his volunteering with the Fire District ceased and/or he moved from the <br /> community the restored items would be first offered to the City for purchase. <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> 6 <br />
