Wash out bins or dumpsters as needed. <br /> STREETS/STORM DRAIN — Overlays and Patching <br /> 1. Preparation <br /> a. Manholes and catch basins are covered to prevent oil and materials from getting <br /> inside the structures. <br /> b. Cracks should be properly sealed. Alligator cracks and potholes should be <br /> removed and patched. <br /> c. Surface should be clean and dry. <br /> d. Uniform tack coat applied. <br /> 2. Process <br /> a. Check aggregate mix for proper temperature. <br /> b. Rolling should be done to achieve proper in-place air void specification. <br /> 3. Clean-up <br /> a. Covering should be removed as soon as the threat of imported materials entering <br /> the system is reduced and prior to a storm event <br /> b. Structure rims should be raised to elevation of new asphalt. <br /> 4. Documentation <br /> a. Record location and date on the maintenance log. <br /> WATER — Chemical Handling/Transporting and Spill Response <br /> 1. Preparation <br /> a. Understand MDS streets for handling of product. <br /> b. Have necessary containment and spill kits at handling place. <br /> 2. Process <br /> a. Begin transfer process. <br /> b.
