City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 25, 2015 <br />X. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Res. #15-013 – Supporting the Reconstruction of the Interstate 35/Trunk Highway 97 <br />Bridge and CSAH32 Ramps <br /> <br />Council discussed concern for financial obligation by supporting this resolution and it was <br />determined that there was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King to adopt Res. #15- <br />013 – Supporting the Reconstruction of the Interstate 35/Trunk Highway 97 Bridge and <br />CSAH32 Ramps with the removal of Forest Lake and replacement of Centerville in the <br />fourth Whereas as Amended. <br /> <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Centerville Lions Request for Permits Associated with Annual Lions Cadillac Dinner ~ <br />April 18, 2015 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. & Waive Fees <br /> a. 1 to 4 Day Temporary/Event On Sale Liquor License <br /> b. Raffle <br /> <br />The item was previously discussed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to Approve <br />the Requests of the Centerville Lions for Permits Associated with their Annual Lions <br />Cadillac Dinner with Fees being Waived as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. MCMA Intern Program <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he felt the program was strong for both the intern and the city <br />as both good benefit from expertise of each other and matching grant funds. Administrator <br />Ericson stated that he would formulate a job description for the intern with a focus on the goals <br />of Council. Administrator Ericson stated that traditionally this a 3-6 month position and he <br />would speak with the Finance Director regarding funding. <br /> <br />Council Member King questioned the grant funds and how they are obtained. Administrator <br />Ericson stated that the funds are obtain from the MCMA which receives its funding through <br />memberships, donations and professionals giving back. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the <br />Submission of the MCMA Internship Program Application as presented.
