City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 10, 2015 <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that several years ago, the Centerville Lions desired to install electrical <br />services to the shelter but to also allow appropriate amperage for their concession trailer. Mayor <br />Wilharber stated that they had received several quotes at that time. He also stated that he felt <br />more than one quote should be received for this work and that the Lions would pay for the <br />additional amperage needed for their concession trailers usage. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King to table this item <br />until additional quotes are received for the work and the Parks & Recreation Committee <br />have reviewed and make recommendation to Council. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that both he and Mr. Paul Palzer, Public Works Director recently <br />visited LaMotte Park and a drinking fountain on the exterior of the warming house would be a <br />good idea and with a very good priced used fountain. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to expend <br />$1 000 for the installation of a used drinking fountain per the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee’s recommendation as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Employee Health Insurance/Benefit (Blended/Age-Based) <br />1. <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that Council previously discussed this item at its previous work <br />session and felt that the age-based health insurance package was a good thing and there were no <br />additional costs to the city or employees. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Love to authorize Staff to <br />direct Mr. Al Roth, A.T. Group to implement the Age-Based Health insurance. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> 7261 Main Street <br />2. <br /> <br />Attorney Glaser stated that the current purchase agreement in effect will formally go into default <br />on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Attorney Glaser also stated that the buyer has not contacted the City, <br />was to pay $45,000 and to arrange the closing. Attorney Glaser stated that the City can formally <br />cancel the purchase agreement or secure a cancellation notice from Mr. Magdik. Attorney <br />Glaser stated that Mr. Magdik would receive notice of default, be given an opportunity to fulfill <br />the unfulfilled conditions within 15 days or secures an order from the court suspending the <br />cancellation within that timeframe. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to direct <br />Attorney Glaser to initiate cancellation procedures for the residential purchase agreement <br />for 7261 Main Street.
