City of Cent 71e <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 22, 2015 <br />Attorney7. Designation of Hearing Ofiricer for Potentially/Dangerous Dog Designation — City <br />Administrator Michael Ericson <br />Glaser stated that the City of Circle Pines delegated the Hearingto <br />the City Manager and the process is working well. Attorney Glaser stated that he hears all <br />appeals, researches police reports, takes owner input and drafts findings and recommendation for <br />consideration. Attorney r that this is not a duty that he may fulfill. <br />concurred. <br />1. Administrator Ericson <br />a. Rice Creek Watershed District Public Information Meeting on July 14, 2015 <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he attended the meeting, the importance of Judicial Ditch #3, <br />its importance as it drains 60% of the surface water in the City and would keep Council abreast <br />of the status of cleaning and repair work. <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he and many other local officials participated in a meeting <br />regarding the Metropolitan Councils Water Supply Plan and that Staff would be offering <br />comments on behalf of the City. <br />Administrator Ericson stated as residents and Council Members were aware, the City of <br />Centerville experienced high winds with the July 17, 2015 storm and several residents have been <br />affected. Administrator Ericson stated that neighboring communities suffered more tree/debris <br />loss and are providing cleaning up efforts; however, the City of Centerville opted not to provide <br />curb side collection but provide residents with free drop off of tree debris at the Rice Creek <br />Chain of Lakes Compost Site from July 25 through August 2, 2015 provided they show proof of <br />Centerville residency for no fee. Administrator Ericson stated that SCORE Funds would be <br />utilized to offset the fees. <br />2. Council <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that he and Administrator Ericson attending a recent Water Summit <br />Meeting in the City of Hugo regarding the White Bear Lake lawsuit. He stated that numerous <br />state, local and municipal representatives were present and are looking to establish a Joint <br />Powers Agreement between cities similar to the structure utilized for the I-35W/E corridor. <br />
